So, yesterday, I told you what I'm hoping to do with the site. Today, just a little of what I've been up to lately. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I figured I'd let you see what my Blackberry camera phone has indicated that I've been up to.

Since I quit blogging on the regular, we've gotten two dogs. Our first dog Lucy (affectionately called Lu, Lulu, or Lu-Bear) is the second love of my life. She's extremely sweet, but she loves to have fun. She's got just an awesome personality. She wouldn't harm a fly.

Our second dog Tia has a great personality, as well, although it's entirely different than her older sister. She's the dog of many nicknames (T, Runtus, Big T, Tia-Bear, and many others). She's as rambunctious as her sister is mellow. Ying and yang. Here's the picture of her after she got spade... and burst open her stitches.

We're not your typical dog owners. For example, I think teaching Lucy how to drink water out of our bathroom sinks wasn't listed anywhere in the dog training books we've read.

As a HS coach, I fell upon a great deal for some great Timberwolves seats. My brother-in-law Ross and I got to see Yao Ming, Ron Artest, Vince Carter, Devon Harris, and Kevin Durant never sitting more than about five rows from the court.

Did I mention that we had phenomenal seats?

I got into playing basketball once again. Unfortunately I sprained my ankle pretty bad in April. Fast forward to August and I still feel the pain. Yikes!

I saw Green Day in concert for the fifth (I think?) time. I've never been as close as we were this time, though.

We've done a lot of work to our house. Besides tilling a bathroom, getting new carpet in a bedroom and living room, and getting a fence, we got an underground sprinkler system. Which means awesome green looking grass... and, subsequently, I get to mow the lawn. A lot.

I mentioned that we got new carpet. We also had to live without carpet in our house for about two weeks. Like our new big screen tv and couch?

Saw Dave Matthews in concert (for free! Thanks lil' sister Sara!) Musically, he's great but I wish he would've played more songs from "Under the Table and Dreaming" and "Crash."

Did I mention that we got two dogs. Seriously, without sounding like a tool (too late!), they are about the highlight of every day. I really can't understand how you can have a dog and not want to take care of them...

If you're out on your bike tonight, do wear white,
-B-
