It seems crazy that our littlest girl turns one year old today! We first got to meet her in October of 2008 when Sara picked her out because:

a) she looked a lot like Lucy

b) she was the only dog that didn't squak when she held her...

Of course, Tia still looks a lot like her older sister Lucy, but she's proved to be approximately 20 times as vocal as Lucy. Not that we're complaining because a lot of times, I find her little "buff" warning bark really cute.

She's been a very good playing partner with big sister Lu. They keep each other pretty busy.

She also makes weekend at the lake cabin much more fun. Although "fun" sometimes means running a quarter mile down the beach because Lucy and her sister got off their leash and want to chase some ducks or find a random dead fish.

They've also become quite the cuddle buddies. I'm sure sleeping in bed with mom and dad everyday hasn't spoiled them one bit.

More than anything, Tia has been the quirky little dog that makes life that much more enjoyable. She took too long to figure out the potty training, she barks to much, she doesn't sit when you tell her to, and she always thinks she's the biggest, baddest dog in the room. Yet at the same time, I wouldn't trade the last 10 months with our little Tia for anything in the world. She's got a little "Marley" in her, but her fun-loving and tail-wagging attitude towards life is infectious. Happy birthday little runtus!
