Back at it with a bit of a somber episode. One of the greatest artists of the Brentnet era is no more. Rest in Peace Nate Dogg.
In honor, I've picked out 12 of my favorite Nate Dogg songs... not counting "Ain't No Fun" or the original "Big Pimpin'" which are just a lil' too racy for me to play on the podcast. Can't clear the morals and standards boards... sorry.

Another Friday missed last week. I've gotta be honest - I'm disappointed in myself. To make excuses once again, I really do have a lot going on. The new job + basketball + a child + trying to learn Adobe After Effects = no time for podcasts. If you think the podcast has been bad, you should see the amount of dust collecting on my treadmill (I'm truly ashamed by that!)
Anyway, I'm back with a fairly decent show. A good mix of old, new, popular, and deep in the crates. Have a great weekend!

So... it's been a good long while since I've made a new podcast. You might think that I'm slipping in my ever advancing age. Or just plain lazy. While all of that is true, I've actually been quite busy. As life starts to normalize, though, I thought I'd come back with the return of the Brentnet Podcast. I had no intentions of taking a month off and have no intentions of taking any more time off. I promise to make it up to you with what I always try to deliver... great songs after great song followed by mediocre, mindless babble by yours truly. Enjoy!

Sorry about missing last week's show. To show my complete commitment to the podcast, I'm staying up until 1 AM to finish this one. What a sport, huh?
Sorry to disappoint, but my voice sounds like I stayed up until 1. At the very least, it's a bunch of songs I picked out that I really like (and obviously hope you like as well). Unlike the last few shows which have been either hip hop-centric (metal, hip hop and country are the only genres of music that tend to alienate some) or of a specific theme, this show has no real strong musical theme. Which is either good or bad... you tell me.
