Here it is... the debut of the my decades countdown. Over the next 7 weeks, I am going to count backward from 100 all the way to 1 (a difficult task for a simpleton like myself) with my 100 favorite songs of the decade. The only stipulation is that I can only play one song per band. It was very difficult... when I started my list, I had over 250 songs. But after much whittling, I finally have what I would call a definitive list. Go ahead and click play or click here to download for later.

As usual, be sure to support these artists. You should support all good musicians, but these are the 100 best of the decade. The least you can do is download a song or go to Target, Best Buy, (wherever really) and pick up a shiny silver disc.
It's Friday. It's the end of October which means a few things... most importantly, the worst four months of the year is very shortly upon us. Here is a list of everything I enjoy about the months of November, December, January, and Febraury:
1) Basketball season 2) Christmas 3) Thanksgiving 4) New Years 5) The Superbowl 6) Watching college basketball instead of mowing the lawn
Here's a list of everything that I hate about the same four months:
1) Everything about the weather (snow, cold, ice, etc) 2) The days are really, really short
Seems like I have found more things that I like about the four months than things that I hate, right? In reality, though, the two items in the second list FAR outweight the first list. Anyway, on to the music...
As usual, you can click here to download this episode to listen to it at your computer on on the go. Or, again, as usual, just click on the play button below.
